Setting up your Trezor device using Trezor.io/Start is a straightforward process. Here's a step-by-step guide:
Navigate to Trezor.io/Start: Open your web browser and go to the URL trezor.io/start. This will take you to the official setup page.
Plug in your Trezor device: Connect your Trezor hardware wallet to your computer using the provided USB cable.
Select your device: On the Trezor Start page, you'll see a list of supported Trezor devices. Choose your specific model from the list.
Install the Trezor Bridge (if necessary): Depending on your operating system and browser, you may need to install the Trezor Bridge software. Follow the on-screen instructions to download and install it.
Set up your Trezor device: Once your device is connected and any necessary software is installed, click on the "Setup your device" button.
Create a new wallet: You'll be prompted to choose whether you want to create a new wallet or recover an existing one. Since you're setting up a new device, select "Create a new wallet".
Write down your recovery seed: Your Trezor device will generate a recovery seed, which is a list of words that serves as a backup in case your device is lost or damaged.
